Arctic Ecology Land Camps

Our land camps focus on three different themes (for now!). 

Marine Ecology​ 

The Marine Ecology Program aims to merge scientific and local knowledge systems on saltwater, marine mammals, marine edible resources (clams, mussels, seaweeds, sculpins, urchins, etc.) and the marine food web.

Freshwater Ecology

The Freshwater Ecology Program aims to merge scientific and local knowledge systems on freshwater, hydrology, fish ecology, plant ecology, benthic invertebrates and pedology (soils science).​

Winter Ecology ​

The Winter Ecology Program aims to merge scientific and local knowledge systems on ice, snow, water quality in lakes, Arctic Char and animal behavior.
